Pay for one child’s Boarding School Fees for 12 months.
PNG free school fees policy has changed between 2020-21. As you can see in this PNG facts news article CLICK HERE the PNG Marape/Steven government have introduced a fee for parents of 36.6% of the cost of schooling which equates to (for Kiriwina Secondary School) $220 for boarding students. There is only one high school on the island, and many students live in remote villages or outlying islands, and cannot attend daily from home. Kiriwina High School provides a boarding facility for these kids to live at the school during term, and the cost for boarding must be paid by their families.
Your donation of $220 can provide a year’s school fees for a student in need to attend high school and continue their studies. You will be supplied with a photo and profile of the student who receives the scholarship, and can communicate with them via CFK.
You can be assured that your full donation will be targeted to a particular student, who has been selected on the advice of the Principal, to allow them to remain at school.
We appreciate the wonderful generosity of our supporters. As Australian Government funding has been put on hold during the pandemic, we rely solely on our donors to continue our work on Kiriwina. Thankyou!

Comment about Edward on FB:
“One of my bubus son from Mwatawa, I am so happy. I was at home last December and he was the only humble boy to come by to spend educational talk. My bubus are illiterate and this is their son who made it to higher school. Happy tracking him.”
