Great news from Kiriwina! Thanks to the amazing collaboration between the CFK VBA network and Losuia Health Centre, a potentially risky birth situation with retained placenta was successfully averted. The quick response and efficient work of our CFK VBAs, CHP Sinaketa, and the Losuia Health Centre ensured a safe delivery for the mother and baby boy, pictured above. A big shoutout to everyone involved for their hard work and dedication!

The Belrose and Willandra Village Ladies knitted items have been distributed to the Kiriwinan mothers and newborns at the Louisa Health Centre and in villages across Kiriwina and the surrounding remote Islands.
