Our dedicated efforts support over 300 Village Birth Attendants, supporting safe and healthy deliveries for mothers and their newborns. We’re committed to enhancing Health and Hygiene through projects focused on food security and providing access to clean drinking water. Additionally, we champion education for school children throughout the Trobriand Islands, empowering the next generation with knowledge and opportunities.

Upon your arrival in Kiriwina, you’ll be greeted by our dedicated staff member, Nason Mark, the CFK Ship dispatching officer. He will be waiting under the banner shown in the picture on the beautiful Kiabola Beach, ready to receive these vital donations.

The cruise line has indicated that they hope to transport some birthing kits in November—five long months away. In the meantime, every single effort counts. Your willingness to bring these essential supplies will be a beacon of hope for those who need it most.

We also encourage passengers who may have additional donations for the Kiriwina community to connect with Nason, who will ensure that everything is distributed fairly and equitably across the island.

Plus, we’ve got 100 headlamps for the Village birth attendants and a solid supply of batteries heading to Kiriwina to support their efforts. 💡
