CFK: Together for Women, Families and Communities

Caring for Kiriwina works with 169 Village Birth Attendants who bring local knowledge, compassion and dedication to caring for mothers, babies and families. Their role extends beyond assisting births to supporting the wellbeing of their communities.

On 12 August 2026, Village Birth Attendants joined the Kiriwinan community for the Pacific Day of Prayer. The gathering highlighted the commitment that connects them—and underpins our work together: empowering women, strengthening families and supporting healthier communities.
