Partnership Meeting with Donors and Milne Bay Provincial Health Authority

Caring for Kiriwina recently participated in a valuable Partnership Meeting between donors and the Milne Bay Provincial Health Authority (MBPHA).

This quarterly Board meeting provides an important opportunity for donors working across Milne Bay Province to share updates on the activities and services they are delivering in local and remote communities. It also allows MBPHA to brief donors on the National Health Department’s vision and priorities, including what is needed to strengthen health support in communities across the province.

The meeting was a meaningful space for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and connection. It was especially valuable to learn more about the work other donors are doing in remote areas of Milne Bay and to better understand how different organisations are contributing to community wellbeing.

For Caring for Kiriwina, this kind of partnership is essential. By working together, sharing knowledge, and aligning with local health priorities, we can help strengthen health services and support better outcomes for communities across Milne Bay Province.
