We introduced you over a year ago to one of our heroic VBA’s, Ruth Noah. A mango tree branch had fallen on her during a violent storm and her leg was broken, she then had to endure an extremely rough, long boat ride to seek medical help. Although Ruth still has a broken leg she is very keen to work as a VBA, she attends all training sessions etc. She is now in Alotau for review. Ruth is using one crutch rather then two. She says she still feels pain but is hoping for a speedy recovery to enable her to return home.
